Black Belt Ceremony

Five years ago, here was our little guy at his first belt testing for Tae Kwon Do:

In that picture, he's demonstrating his front kick, a skill that officially belongs to the next higher belt.

Since then, he has put in a lot of hard work and loads and loads of sweat to get to this moment:

After the ceremony was over, each person got to demonstrate a few kicks of their choosing.  The only stipulations were that they had to imagine they were being attacked from both the front and the back and that they had to do one practice run so that the instructor could hold the board at the correct height.  Here's Bryce's demonstration:
