Bunny Heroin

I cannot say that I never had a pet rabbit before but it certainly seems like it.

When I was little, we had a pet rabbit.  I remember dressing the rabbit in my baby doll's clothes and pushing it around in my doll buggy.  I am serious.  LOL!  I also remember that the rabbit was white.

That's all I remember about our pet rabbit.  It must have been a very nice rabbit to be so tolerant of a little girl with silly ideas.  LOL!

Our current rabbit, on the other hand, is not.  She is very bossy.  Either that or she is addicted to the rabbit equivalent of heroin.  I'm not kidding.  She grabs the door to her cage in her teeth and shakes it until she gets what she wants.  Sometimes, that is bunny heroin and sometimes that's hoppy time.

Yes, Dabra, our rabbit is spoiled.  When it's warm out, she gets full reign of the screen enclosure.  At night and when it is cold, she is an indoor bunny.  Sometimes, she even gets hoppy time inside the house.  She'll even come sit on my lap if I have bunny heroin.

Yet, letting her have indoor freedom was our mistake.  She now expects to get indoor hoppy time whenever she wants it.  She goes potty in her litter box so that isn't the problem.  Nope, she tries to dig under my couch and she wants to nibble on my computer cords.

So, it looks like we'll be buying stock in the bunny heroin company.  LOL!  That or maybe I should let our daughter dress Dabra in some baby doll clothes.  Maybe that will humble her a bit.  Somehow, I don't think so.  LOL!

Happy Creative Time!
