An Actual Layout

You would think, as a professional designer I would get loads of scrapping and other projects made all the time.  It's confession time.  I have not done a whole lot of scrapping lately.  Well, that is going to change!!!

And here is my first layout to show off:

I told you the Asian Screen Sampler from this week-end was for a special photo!  Yes, that is our son and he is performing an Outside In Axe Kick.  It's where, with your leg straight, you swing your leg slightly out to the side and up and then come straight down in front of you.  This is one of Bryce's favorite kicks because he does it so well.  His knee practically touches his shoulder when he does it.

Now,  this shot doesn't really do this layout justice.  It looks better in person.  I also know the layout is on the plain side and there is no journaling but that is Bryce's fault.  I had a journaling spot all ready to adhere to the page when he came home from school and asked that I not include it.  He said the page looked better without it.  Who am I to argue with him about a page for him?  LOL!

I hope to get the full Asian Screen Collection up to the store soon.  Yep, there are so many pieces in this one file that it will make a whole collection all by itself.  I guess I went a little crazy.  LOL!

Until next time, Happy Creative Time!

What a wonderful scrapbook page! I love the simplicity of the page; it fits with the Asian theme. Very nice job!

Great LO of your son! The simple design is really lovely. I hope the journaling is on the back since it isn't on the front. Trust me, you don't remember all the details you think you will. After several years, new things fill up your brain, and others are forgotten.
I have a friend who places all journaling on one line across the bottom of each page, regardless of design. Pages are 12 by 11 1/2 for her design space.
