Rain and Good Friends

Today's dose of gratitude:  rain and good friends.

I woke up to rain this morning and it sounded absolutely beautiful!  (Yes, I know most of you think I'm weird right now! LOL!)  It hasn't rained here in more than a month and all the plants are showing it too.  Our yard is looking like dirt with a few patches of brown and just the slightest touch of green.  But, it rained off and on all day today so, the plants should be happier.  So, yes, I may be weird but I am so grateful for the rain.

I'm also grateful for friends like you who won't shoot me because I do not have a freebie ready for tomorrow.  I really don't know how Friday sneaked up on me so quickly and quietly.  Seriously, though, I've been very busy on 4 different files.  Unfortunately, none of them are ready to go out the door yet.  Hey, you know me; if they don't pass inspection, if they are not good enough, then they don't go up here nor anywhere else.  Sorry!  I'll do better next week.  I promise.

Thank you, also for all the kind wishes for my hubby.  He is feeling much better except for his nose, the bump on his forehead, and his neck.  It's nothing major and I'm sure it will be all gone by next week.

So, for what are you grateful today?

We also got rain and needed it also. Forest fires had started here (WV) and now they are now out. I am very Thankful for that. OF course you have a wonderful way to make it sound awesome...Love reading your blog.

we too are always grateful to hear the sound of rain. After 7 years of drought in Australia, rain is a welcome gift! It is so wonderful to see wster in the dams and hear it running into our tanks (our only water supply). Have a wonderful weekend. Cheers, caz

You must be in northern Florida! Loved finally getting some rain after not having any since September 29.

Usually I love the rain, but we have been having way too much of it lately. I guess I am grateful that it isn't snow (yet)! No problem on the file. Missing one week when you are always so generous is definitely nothing to worry about. Enjoy your weekend!

Rain is a blessing.
I am grateful for your and your generosity in sharing your files and your talent. I cut one of your files this weekend for a planner swap, and I really enjoyed using it. There are plenty more on my hard drive!
