August?!? and a Present too!

Can you believe it is August already? I know I can't. Even more odd is the fact that my son was actually complaining that school didn't start today. He actually wants to be in school already! Yet, I wish we had more than just three weeks of summer left. LOL!

Oh, and I am so very grateful that I got a present this week-end. It was Christmas in July. LOL! See:

Carol really outdid herself, don't you think? That amazing-looking colored paper is not paper. It's vinyl that she colored herself with alcohol inks. I think that is so cool! What do you think? It makes me want to try out that technique myself.
