A while ago, I posted that I needed a new trimmer. Well, my trimmer has arrived and I've had a chance to play with it. I haven't used it for serious down and crafty scrapping yet, but so far, I have to admit that I love it.
Here's what I bought:
Yes, I went with the Purple Cow trimmer and I also got the mouse-style cutter. I bought it because the blades fit in the Purple Cow trimmer and, believe it or not, the whole mouse cutter with all the blades was cheaper than the blades by themselves. Go figure!
Both sides of the Purple Cow are easy for me to use. That's a really big thing as I have limited mobility and strength in my hands because of arthritis. I also like that I can pop the rotary blades in and out for a different look.
I have to confess, though, that the Tonic guillotine trimmers were mighty tempting. Who knows? I just may end up with one of those too. LOL!
Really, I am not a hoarder of scrapbooking tools. I just have had tons of experience with trimmers and, well, most of them have not been good--at least most of them never lasted or gave me the quality results like I thought they should.
Now, make sure you come back tomorrow as I'll have the first of 3 (Yes! That's THREE!) cool things for you right here. You won't want to miss it. I promise.
Until then, Happy Creative Time!

I have the same trimmer and I love it! It works really well. I haven't seen the mouse thingy though, it looks pretty cool.
You will have to update us on how well it works for you over time. The mouse blade looks cool!
Oh, I have one of these too! Even in New Zealand we can get these, even if it is through the school teacher's network not that I am one, just good friends with one) Enjoy!
That's the cutter I have and I love it!

I have a purple cow cutter like this and I think it's great!!
I am glad to hear you went with such a great trimmer, you have to give a full report on what you think of it after you get some good use of it. I LOVE my PC :)
Where did you find these? I have yet to find a good cutter. Please keep us posted on how well it cuts after you have used it for a while.
that looks like a good cutter. I have a standard fiskars one with the swing out arm, but I have been disenchanted with it since it can not cut squares with right angles. I have looked at several with the cool blades and been very tempted. Where did you get this one? through a website or in a store?
I bought them through Amazon.com but several websites have them. I had to find the site with both the best price and the lowest shipping.
