It was so nice to have the day off today. Our whole family enjoyed spending time together around the house. It was a very nice break from the daily routine. Half of us will be back at that routine bright and early in the morning. The hubby is taking off from work tomorrow so we can be 100% ready for the Boy Scout Den meeting at our house tomorrow night. The boys are going to be earning their Chess Belt Loops.
The added bonus is that Hubby and I get to have a little date. We're going out to lunch at one of our favorite restaurants. Woo Hoo! We don't go out to eat very often and to be able to do it without the kids . . . well, that's even more special. Don't get me wrong. We love our kids but we enjoy and need the time for us sometimes too.
