Squirrel Stare Down

Do you remember that game you used to play as a kid? You'd stare at somebody and the first one who blinked or looked away first, lost. Well, we've been watching a little different stare-down match.



Our dog, Miffy, has got 3 squirrels up in a tree in our back yard. The squirrels aren't trapped as I know they can jump from our tree to our neighbors tree in their yard but they are holding their tree, so to speak. They are teasing and taunting our dog by staring at her, wagging their tails and sneaking down the tree before running back up into the tree. Mostly they are just staring at each other.



Miffy, who loves the air-conditioning and the cold tile floor in front of the fan, must be having fun. She's been at this game for more than an hour. We even called her inside for a while but she's back out there again. Here, take a look.
