A2 Snowflakes

Yay!  I got to spend some amazing creative time this week.  See:

and the extra pieces too:

Here's what I made with it:

Yes, that big snowflake is cut out of the base paper just like the small ones. So this card has just three layers, the white pieces, the silver liners and the black base.

I embossed the white negative space with a dot embossing folder and glittered the snowflakes with glacier glitter.  It was so fun and easy to make that I cannot wait to make some more.  I'm thinking of using red next time.  Hmm.  What colors would you use?

Oh, and to answer yesterday's question, my clear stand is actually a crystal bowl I found on clearance at Tuesday Morning.  I think it's really meant to be a candy dish but I have turned it upside down to use as a stand.  Sometimes, I also use a small glass plate that was meant to hold a pillar candle.  Hey, I was looking for either a acrylic block or a nifty metal base but I couldn't find any.  So, sometimes, a girl's got to be creative.

A2 Snowflakes will be up to the store very soon.

Until next time, may your creative time be filled with bliss and a little bit of glitter too.

Great design and card! Yep, I've been working on my Christmas card for this year and can't seem to escape the glitter!

I love the shape of this snowflake - very pretty and unique. Thanks for the information about the clear stand - some of the best things are the simplest, aren't they?
