In The Home Stretch

It is the Eve of Friday and it feels so amazing!  I know you're laughing, but it's true.  We had another full week with three Christmas parties and lots of things to do but the hubby has tomorrow off and that means I will have beaucoup help to get everything done tomorrow.

And the first thing on that list is wrapping!  Yay!  I am so very excited to have help with that task.  Seriously!  It's more exciting to me than just about any other thing I can think of.  I'm not kidding.

It's not that I don't like wrapping presents--especially if it's just a couple.  Lots of them, all at once, though, well . . . not so much.  You see, when I was a kid my mother made me wrap my own presents.  I only wish I was kidding.  She would put my present in a box and tape it shut and then I had to wrap it and then I had to wrap everybody else's presents too.  When there are seven people in your immediate family, wrapping can get old fast and wrapping your own present when you're just a kid is pure torture.  LOL!

So, yes, I am very happy to have the help.  Plus, we just might get to squeeze a lunch date into the day too.

It just doesn't get any better than that!

But for you, it will.  Make sure you stop by tomorrow as I'll have an early gift for you--and it's already wrapped up too!

Until then, Happy Creative Time!

My Mom did the same thing! Only, most of the time, she just put it face down, and said, wrap it. Not fun at all when you are nine or ten! I'm glad things are looking a bit brighter now!

Hope you enjoy your day with the hubby! Those always are special times once the kiddos come along as they are few and far between.
