We have had such a glorious week-end filled with lots of blessings.
First, Ilaria made her First Communion on Saturday morning and, I must confess, I cried and cried. LOL! For me, this is one of the most important days in my daughter's life. And, no, it's not because of the dress or how she looked or that my baby's growing up too fast. For her to receive Him, just touches my heart in a profound way. So, yes, the tears were flowing but they were all of pure joy. It couldn't get any better than that, right? See:
Yet, it was so much better because she was blessed with sharing this day with both of her godmothers and Mr. Charlie too.
Yes, our kind stranger joined us and added even more joy.
Then, on Sunday, Ilaria was chosen to crown Mary in our new church.
And, to top that off, for Mother's Day, I got a rotten fence replaced with a new one! Yay!
So, yes, we have been blessed and we are truly grateful. These are simple joys; yet, it doesn't get any better than this.
