Phew! We all survived the week-end. No worse for wear either. LOL! Of course, the shark fishing trip was . . . canceled due to bad weather. So, nobody got bit. Not even my husband. LOL! I'm sure they'll reschedule it for another day.
That also means I didn't get to scrap like I had wanted but I did make my daughter's veil and she actually loves it. So that's a big plus.
Now, I'm working on the poofy slip but I ran into a snag. I was sure I had enough elastic in my stash to make this slip and tons more. Turns out, I have narrow elastic and lots of it. Wide elastic is nowhere to be found.
I guess that means another trip to Joann's. Hmm. And they just got in some new paper crafting goodies so you know what that means. Yep, buying something in a craft store is just like eating potato chips; you can't buy just one. LOL!
But I do know someone who got to scrap this week-end. She took the Frilly Frame from this past week-end and enlarged it to fit on a 12" x 12" page. See:
Isn't it beautiful?
I love it and the kids are just precious too. Thank you, Deb for the gorgeous picture!
Until next time, Happy Creative Time!

Such a cheerful attitude about all the changes to the family's plans!
You know, if you decide against being forced into making that long drive to the store, you can use the narrower elastic by making parallel rows of casings. Just saying....
Sorry to hear the trip was cancelled and you didn't get time to scrap but you will another time.
Have a fun shopping trip at Joann's :)
