Feeling Celebratory

I'm in a celebratory kind of mood. One of our biggest small reasons to celebrate is that the wicked bougainvillea is now gone! Yay! Yippeee! Waahooozles!

It's also a long week-end for us. Our daughter's school is closed tomorrow and Monday for parent-teacher conferences and the hubby is taking some well deserved leave too. Phew! Four days of not having to get up early. Yay! Now, if only the dog's alarm clock will cooperate too. LOL!

For the last reason, to celebrate, well, you'll have to come back tomorrow. It's tied to the free file and I just can't let that cat out of the bag yet.

Oh, and as for the snake . . . we ran the hose over to the hole and turned it on full force. We ran that hose until the hole was overflowing. We must have stood there for twenty minutes. The only thing that moved was a couple of cockroaches. (Yes, I've lived in Florida for two years now and I know I'm supposed to call them Palmetto Bugs but I've been raised to call it as I see it. A cockroach is a cockroach no matter how big or how small. And, yes, they are still yucky too!)

So, the snake has obviously moved on to somewhere else. Let's hope he stays there!

Until next time, Happy Creative Time!
