Cutting for a Cause--More Rewards

A couple of days ago, I posted that in lieu of this week's free file, I have a special challenge for you. Well, I am so excited to announce that that special challenge has just grown--again--and I think you're going to like it a lot.

But, let me digress for a moment. Did you ever make mud pies when you were little? Did you ever sneak a taste or know someone who did? Yucky, right?!!! Well, can you imagine, as a parent, having no other option but to feed your children "cookies" made of dirt? That's exactly what mothers in Haiti would do for their children just so they would have something to eat. That was happening before the earthquake. I'm sure the situation is much worse now.

So, here's our--yes, OUR--challenge to you. For every one who contributes to the relief efforts in Haiti, I'll let you choose any file you want from my design line and so will the very sweet Jan Bryson of Sam & Hailey Designs and the lovely Shelly of Shelly's Art will too! Simply forward us your receipt or your thank you message from the agency to and and and we'll send the file out to you. You get to help the people of Haiti and you get three free files you like and a tax deduction too! How does that sound?

Oh, but it gets even better than that. Patricia, The Paper Temptress, will also send you some awesome paper just for donating too! How cool is that?!!!

I'm even going to provide you some information on agencies where you can make a difference. Now, you do not have to contribute to these agencies--yes, you may choose your own; however, each of these agencies is directly involved in Haiti. I am also listing them in the order of their ranking. That is, the one with the lowest administration and fund-raising costs (and, therefore, the highest percentage of your donation going directly to the relief effort) is first and so on down the list.

Food for the Poor

Also, here is another list of links to reputable charities that are involved directly in Haiti and their grades according to The American Institute of Philanthropy.

I appreciate your participation in this! I know the people of Haiti will too.

Don't forget to let me know what file you want and what format you want for your file. Again, just send me your receipt or the thank you message you receive for donating to me at (I don't need to see how much you donate, simply that you have done so.)

Until next time, Happy Creative Time!
