I'd like to say that everything in my life is just peachy and wonderful. I know, without a doubt, that I am very richly blessed but I also know not everything is peachy.
In fact, there's this ugly monster in our house. It's name is a combination of two four-letter words and I know it strikes terror in the hearts of many parents and children alike all throughout the world. It just has to. It can't just be in my house and only my house.
The vicious monster I'm referring to is: Homework! Eeeeek! Ack! (Yay! I'm pretty sure I just saw a few of you ducking in fear. It's not just me!)
I don't know what it is about homework and my daughter but it's a battle. Mostly, it isn't the fact that it has to be done nor that it's too hard to do. She knows she has to do it. She knows she can do it. She just gets ornery when we ask her to do it. And, since I've got that stubborn Belgian streak of my grandmother's in me, I'm just as determined not to let her win. LOL!
So, tell me, if you have battled the vicious homework monster, how did you win? Seriously, I'd love to hear your tips while I still have more hair than my husband. (Ssshh! Don't tell him I said that!)
Until next time, Happy Scrapping!

A friend of mine had to take the gaming systems away until homework was done and she looked at it. It helped them but may not work for everyone. Good luck! Games
I have not advise as I am battling the same monster with my youngest DD. My oldest DD did not have this problem.
I battled it with ds for 12 years. I don't have a solution for you but I'm so glad it's over!
I have no clue as my DD comes home from school and does her homework without any problems. Maybe you can find out what it is that makes her cause the fight, maybe she just wants to unwind from school and then get to it?? Good luck and I am sure you will win ;)
