Lots on the List Today

First, I would love it if both Donnie and Kylee would e-mail me at ijr41ug @yahoo.com (please take out the space). You see, I decided I would reward everyone who posted about how they know their work is good enough and both Donnie and Kylee fit the bill. I look forward to hearing from you.

Now, did you know that today is: Chemistry Set Volcano Day, Lazy Day, Middle Children's Day, and National S'mores Day?

I can honestly say that my children celebrated the first one. They've been playing out in our back yard making goo and volcanoes. They've had a blast!

I can't say as any of us celebrated Lazy Day, though. At least not today. Nor can we celebrate Middle Children's Day. None of us fit the bill for that. Both my husband and I are the "baby" of the family and I only have two kids--unless you count the dog. LOL! To make it worse, I've got to teach tonight so I won't be making any S'mores. Maybe my hubby can do that with the kids after they collect food for the homeless which is what they'll be doing tonight.

So, how are you celebrating today's holidays?

Speaking of holidays, what is your favorite holiday and why? What is your favorite "non-traditional" holiday--you know, not Christmas, Halloween, Hanukkah, etc.--and why? Even better yet, what is your favorite holiday memory?

I'd love to hear from you. Until then, Happy Scrapping!

My favorite holiday is Christmas. All of the anticipation and excitement!! Can't wait to see the reaction to the gifts given. Oh and the food is always okay too!! It's especially wonderful with grandkids now in the picture.

Mine is my wedding anniversary. My husband always seems to surprise me with something awesome. He tries to follow the gift guides but makes the gift more him and me. Hope that makes sense. Last year he took me on a little trip to the Amish country and stayed in a awesome suite. Everyday when we got back to our room I had a surprise. Roses, chocolates, photos, gift certificates and other wonderful things. I loved them but cherished the time with him. Love him with all my heart!

This is a post late but Ileana you stuff is great! You are also a huge help. Thanks for everything!
