Maybe Some Day

Okay, to answer what was wrong with our van: we suspected it was the brakes and the rotors. We figured we'd end up having to replace them all. Fortunately, the one rotor was only warped a bit and they were able to grind it down to round again. They said it's possible to warp your rotors if they are hot from driving a lot and then you put on the emergency brake or cool them too quickly by driving through a large puddle.

Now, on to a better story. My husband's lifelong, wild fantasy.

No, no, no, NOT that kind of fantasy. LOL!

My husband has had this dream of shopping just like his dad. His dad, John, is the King of Coupons. He has gone into the grocery store armed with his coupons and walked out with a cart completely full of groceries. What's so special about that? Well, before he would walk out, the cashier would pay him. Yep, PAY him. Not give him his change but pay him anywhere from $.50 to $3.00.

So, yes, my husband's craziest fantasy is to go shopping and have the store pay him to take home his conquests. He longs to be the King of Coupons! Until then, he's just the Prince. But he's my handsome Prince. Maybe some day, he'll be King.
