See! That is our whole-house generator that was delivered today. We're so excited. It will power our house--the air conditioner, the refrigerator, the freezer, and most rooms in our house too--in the event of an emergency. Isn't it cool? Here, take a closer look.
No more sweating--literally and figuratively--about not having electricity. The popsicles will remain solid in the freezer. The lights will work and we'll be able to watch tv, listen to the radio or check for news on the internet! This is soooo awesome.
The only thing that would make it better would be if it were actually hooked up to the house and if it had some propane to power it!
Fay is expected to hit here about 2:00 pm tomorrow but the generator won't be hooked up until Wednesday or Thursday. LOL!
Fortunately, she is no longer expected to strengthen into a hurricane but she is expected to drop 6-12 inches of rain and could cause some wind damage, nonetheless. May Fay not be fickle and continue to both weaken and continue on her way out of here.
We are well prepared. I appreciate your thoughts and prayers. We have faith, though, that we will be fine.

Im sure all will be fine this time round :). That generator looks might fine and will look even better once hooked up to the house. Stay dry and will be keeping everyone in Fay's path in thought and prayer.
