I actually convinced my husband to buy me a dehumidifier tonight! It has been thunderstorming every day for a while now with about 3 or 4 more months of it to come. It definitely makes cutting difficult. Fortunately, I have an awesome husband who understands my desperate need to scrap and craft. I don't know what I'd do without him.
I hope it makes a difference. The instruction manual says it works best in enclosed spaces but most of my downstairs is one open room that leads into another. I'll let you know how well it does tomorrow.

My dh is not as understanding so I had to use a little different approach. LOL! Our house is very open--the only rooms that can be shut off are the 3 upstairs bedrooms and my 1st floor craft room. We have a 19 foot ceiling in our family room and windows way up there too where the late afternoon sun shines in. Therefore, the house gets extremely warm. The ac just cannot keep up with the southern heat. My dh is actually looking into the "whole-house" dehumidifier that gets connected to our furnace. Sneeky, huh?! Hey, a girl has to do what a girl has to do!
