This is especially true on the first day of school. Both of my kids hit the floor--at the same time--with their feet running. Both of them were ready to do in a speedy fashion and begging to go to school early.
We even had plenty of time to take lots of pictures--and both kids actually smiled!!!
Here's our daughter:
I have to laugh at this picture. When she was little she LOVED Sesame Street. The whole world stopped when Elmo's World came on. Then, for YEARS, Sesame street wasn't cool anymore. Now, that she is in the fourth grade, it's cool again. Go figure! LOL!
And here's our oldest:
He had a good day in middle school and I'm sure he managed great without us. At least he didn't say anything went wrong. LOL!
And me? I have to admit that the house was very quiet and I got a lot of work done around here. So, it's all good.
