What a difference a few hours make!
First, the boy's mom put a quick end to the date. Yay! Then the "date" morphed into a birthday party for another boy. I still don't know how that happened but when we find out the official details, she will probably go.
Anyway, Ilaria has always had male friends and played with kids of both genders. We never had a problem with that.
Yet, we also know our daughter very well. When you give that girl an inch, she takes a mile. So, being allowed to go on a date in third grade would mean, to her, that real dating should come a lot sooner than would be normally acceptable. Shoot, I let her play with make-up when she was five and now she thinks she should be allowed to wear it--the whole works, not just lip gloss--to church and school every day.
On a more professional note, "Under All That Dirt"
is now in the store here.
Oh, and make sure you stop by tomorrow for the free file. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Until then, Happy Creative Time!

Well, what a relief that there's no "date" now! :D
I had to click to the store and get your "dirt" file and I'll be cutting it tomorrow with this picture of Clay (which is my avatar on the Forum).
Thanks SO very much, Ileana and I can't wait to see tomorrow's freebie! YOU ROCK! :)
what a difficult situation and one I am sure you will manage as wonderfully as you handle everything else your children throw at you LOL
