Well, if you've been watching the news, you already know we didn't get to see the launch in person. Bummer!
As it turned out, though, I didn't get to go Kennedy Space Center either.
I know I've told you about our baby dog, Miffy and how she loves to swim. What I didn't tell you is that she is the self-appointed life guard too. She doesn't like it if the kids get rowdy. She chases them and barks at them if they try to run around the pool. She barks at them if they jump in and worries over them until they come up for air. She'll spend a lot of time running around the pool and supervising the kiddos while they are swimming and swim a little bit in between too.
All of this stresses out her aging joints. It used to just make her stiff and slow to move around later in the evening. Well, she really OVERDID it and couldn't put any weight on her back left leg. She'd whimper all the time and yelp if she moved the wrong way. So, I stayed home to take her to the vet and to take care of her.
I was very worried about her and was fighting the thought of having to put her to sleep. Fortunately, she didn't break any bones. It's arthritis and we now have two new sets of pills to give her. I am praising God that they did the trick! I was in tears just watching her furry bahooney walking on all four legs and trying to chase after squirrels. LOL! Now, we just have to try to limit her pool activity. She's not going to like that.
The guys and the kids had fun at Kennedy and had excellent seats for the launch today too. It just wasn't meant to be. Sigh!
I promise I'll post some pictures for you next time and have a cool free file for you next week too!
Happy Creative Time!

Glad she is going to do better. Hope the next few days give you more joy!
Awww POOR Miffy!!!!! That just breaks my heart to hear she's got arthritis! My little Muffin has it too and I KNOW exactly what you mean about concern for her! I'm happy to hear the pills are working.
Sorry you had to miss going to Kennedy Space Center but sometimes we have to give things up for our "kids". Bless you for doing so!
Have a blessed weekend! Looking forward to your next freebie---as always! :)
Glad everyone is OK! :)
So glad to hear great news about your furchild.
So sorry to hear about your little pup--that arthritis stuff is bad, I think it's worse for our pets because I'm not sure if they understand it. At least people can be taught to take it easy when things are bad. I hope she gets better soon, sorry you had to miss the launch.
Glad all's going to be ok. It's terrible when the fury ones are in pain!
