I've got a picture to share today!

This is my first completed project for the August Sketch Challenge.  The hubby still needs to add the journaling. 

After MANY days of asking and pleading from the kiddos, the hubby took them to Warped Tour.  It was an all-day festival with many, many bands having concerts on multiple stages.  It was HUGE and the kids had a blast.

One of Bryce's favorite bands is We Came As Romans.  The kids were so excited at the thought of possibly meeting them that they printed pictures of the band members and then creatively bumped their faces and glued them down to some really goofy pictures they had hand-drawn.  One band member's face was pepperoni on a slice of pizza. Another's face was on a taco body with traffic cones for legs.  Hey, I said they were goofy.

Well, the hubby and kiddos were walking around the festival when Bryce spotted his favorite band member, Josh, walking in the crowd.  Of course, the kids grabbed their goofy pictures and ran up to him.

The pictures were a huge hit!  The band members loved the pictures so much that they put them up on the dash of their tour bus and then spent a half hour with the kids.
