Miffy

There is a great big emptiness in our home now.  Our much loved friend and baby dog has passed.

She was a beautiful dog with a heart of gold and she will be missed terribly.

Here she is with our kids, just as excited as them for the first day of school.

And here she is just wishing the squirrel would come down from the tree so she could sniff it.

You see, her kindness extended to every living thing.  She would come and sniff our hamster, Snowball, and then back up to give her more room.  She even had made friends with three different cats on our walks.  They would come up to us each morning to say hello and get a scratch or two.

And here is what always greeted us when we came home.

She always had a smile on her face and would even wrap her front paws around us to give us a Miffy hug.

We were incredibly blessed with the best dog.

Our fur-babies are members of the family too. And I know first hand how difficult it can be to say goodbye. Your pictures tell the story of a well-loved dog who adored and looked after your family as much as you adored and looked after her. My thoughts are with you and your family. After your grief subsides, may you be left with joyful memories to warm your hearts. She will always be with you in spirit!

So sorry to hear--our furry family members are so important! We lost our last baby purry in January, still think I see her slinking around the house!

My heart goes out to you. We lost our Taffy to the same illness. She was only 5 yrs old.
