Girly?

Our daughter had a birthday party to go to this past week-end and I needed a card--quick!

I had been hearing about the birthday party all week long.  The big activity:  make-overs.  So, that must mean the birthday girl is a girly-girl.  Don't you think?

So, here's my card:

What do you think?

Our daughter came home from school and I showed her the card.  She didn't like it because the birthday girl is not a girly-girl and doesn't like pinks and purples.  Go figure!

I used the balloon from A2 Spinning Birthday Card and a special little file you'll be seeing really soon.  (Hint.  Hint.  Come back tomorrow.)

Until then, you can go shopping as I started my sale a day early.

May you enjoy some amazing creative bliss.

Happy Birthday to your daughter. I think pink and purple are definitely girly colors and I love them together. Cute card.

I would have made the same mistake. SO, did she use your card, or did you have her put one together herself?!

Lisa, she actually used the card. I couldn't believe it myself since Ilaria is definitely not girly.
