So Close!

Once again, I have great reason to be grateful for my husband.  I have little reasons too, like when he repaired my dryer about a week ago.  Wahoozles!

Of course, I am so very grateful to have met him in the first place and I'm thankful that God brought him home safely from Iraq three different times too.

Now, I can add that I am grateful he came home from Aquacamp, a Boy Scout camping trip designed for the boys to earn First Aid, Life Saving and other aquatic merit badges.

Specifically, I am grateful he stopped himself from accidentally stepping on this:

That snake in the grass is an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake and here's the picture he took after it moved:

Yep, I'm grateful he didn't get bit again.  Somehow, I think, if he had been bit he wouldn't have waited three days to go to the hospital this time.  That's an experience we'll gladly not repeat.
