What???!!!

My children and I had the experience of a lifetime this morning.  I know that phrase is very over used but I don't know how else to describe it because we have never seen this one before today.

You see, we went to church this morning.  We're used to hearing crying babies.  Normally, I consider these sounds as their way of praising God.

This morning, however, was different.  Today, the sound was barking.  Seriously! 

At first, I thought "What?  What kid is making dog sounds?"  Yet, the sound didn't stop.  Sure enough.  I looked around and there was a woman shoving a dog into a carrier!  In the middle of the service.  In the sanctuary! 

It wasn't a service dog.  My father was blind.  I'm used to service dogs.  No, this was a yappy little thing. 

And our pastor thinks wearing flip-flops to church is a big no-no.  I bet we'll be seeing a "Don't bring your pets to church" announcement in the bulletin very soon.  LOL!
