All's Well

It was a very busy and, thankfully, uneventful week-end.

Isaac was supposed to make his presence very strongly felt all up and down the coast of Florida.  So, we took inventory of our emergency supplies, examined our yard and trees for anything that could go flying, and did a little shopping.  Fortunately, all we needed was some more toilet paper and a gallon of milk.  See, we are always prepared.  Hubby is an Eagle Scout, after all, plus with his jobs, well, it's a way of life.

The schools closed and the RNC even cancelled their first day.  We even made sure to invite the neighbors over in case the power went out.  (We have a large generator that means we won't lose power even if the electricity is out.)

And, it rained.  That's all we got.  There wasn't even any thunder.

Thankfully for us, the storm shifted off into the gulf.  Of course, while this is good news for us, it's not so great for Louisiana.  So, if you are the praying type, I would appreciate a few prayers for everyone through this storm.

Until next time, may you enjoy some creative bliss.
