Yay! and Yay! Again!!!

SUPER DUPER WAHOOZLES!!!

We are so very excited.  Two good things have happened to our kiddos today.  Yay!

First, Ilaria has been selected to be on her school's Safety Patrol.  She has wanted this job since she was in third grade.  She had to write an essay and get her teacher's recommendation just to apply for the program.

So, starting May 1, she will be in training and, then, next year she will be responsible to help the little ones as they arrive at and depart the school each day.  She's excited.  I'm proud of her and I am excited too because this means I won't have to sit in car line, waiting for her at the end of the day.  Yay!

Then, out of about 3,000 applicants, Bryce was one of ten kids who were awarded a scholarship to attend  Space Camp at the US Rocket and Space Center in Huntsville, Alabama.  Wahoozles!  Our future rocket scientist is going to get the experience of a lifetime and a start on his future career.

You should have heard Bryce scream when I read him his acceptance letter.  "Excited" doesn't quite cover how he's feeling today.

Wow!  It's been a great day here.  Yay!

Until next time, Happy Creative Time!

Woohoo! Congratulations to Ilaria and Bryce! Is this the same Space Camp that was depicted in the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie A Smile As Big As The Moon?
