Orchestra

Sorry if today's post seems like bragging.  I'm just genuinely impressed with our son's experience in orchestra.

We attended his orchestra concert on Thursday night.  This is the very first time all these kids got to play together--ever!  You see Bryce's orchestra teacher has 6 different classes she has to teach.  I'm guessing that three of these are sixth graders and the rest are divided up between the 7th graders, 8th graders and Chamber Orchestra classes.  They all meet at different times and, as such, are not even able to practice together as an entire group.

Here's a video of one of the songs they played Thursday night.  It mainly shows our son because otherwise, the hubby would have had to film the backs of parents' heads to get the whole 6th grade orchestra in the picture.

Pretty good job for kids that have only been playing since the middle of January!  Don't you think so?

And here's a picture of Bryce playing his viola.

Until next time, Happy Creative Time!
