Yays

Thank you so much for your prayers and advice.  They mean so much to me!

I promised you Yays today and I have four of them and I think they are really good ones too.

The first Yay is that I've been adopted.  LOL!  Mike, one of our homeless friends, wants me to be his mom.  See:

He had a really bad fungal infection all over his head.  He had been fighting it for more than two months.  Sunday, we got to celebrate that it was nearly all cleared up.  I'm so excited for him.  He was too.  He said he wanted me to be his mom because I would not let him give up.  I also made sure he threw away his old hat and gave him a new one just so the infection wouldn't return.  Yay for Mike!

The second Yay is that it is now official!  Yay!  My hubby has officially graduated from War College and has the diploma to prove it.  See:

I'm so proud of him.  He did an amazing job and he came in way under the time allotted too.  Yay for Bryan!

I'm also so very proud of both of our kiddos.  Out of thousands of kids, both Bryce and Ilaria made it to the Top 100 semi-finalist list for Operation Homefront's Military Child of the Year.  They were both competing against high school students.  This is a phenomenal award that's based on their characters and accomplishments.  Yay for Bryce and Ilaria!

Finally, Bryce made it to the Top 5 finalist list for Military Child of the Year.  You can see his name at this link here.  He has just won a brand new laptop computer.  Yay for Bryce!

I am so very grateful for all these Yays and so much more.

How about you?  What Yays do you have to celebrate?  I'd love to hear about them!

Until next time, Happy Creative Time!
