More Pictures

I enjoyed an amazing day today.

My hubby had today off so we made it a date day.  In other words, we weren't home much but we had fun.

We went out to lunch and to Walmart too.  We got some things we needed for our family and more stuff for the homeless.  Last week, we were asked to take charge of the toiletries and over-the-counter medicines like cough drops.  I just had to get that into an organized system that we can easily take in and out of our vehicle at the various stops we make and here at home too.

I even made a 6-pocket apron out of and old pair of pants today.  I discovered how important that would be last week when the medicines were brought out for the first time.  I was mobbed and the entire box was gone in less than ten minutes.  Maybe, with the apron and the boxes, the supplies will go farther and will help more people.

We didn't get a chance to finish the layout of our son's Cub Scout World Conservation Award but here's the third file I used on it:

and here's another file that's in the works:

This one was requested by the hubby.

What do you think?

I hope you have an amazing week-end!!!

Until next time, Happy Creative Time!

You and your family are such blessings to so many...me included. :) How did you do the apron from pants??? You are so talented. Love the files.

I too love hubby's request....I'm sorry I didn't think of it. I know a great many Military moms & wives who will want this one cut. I cooked dinner for a Silver Star wife who's hubby still has a long way to go & we talked about this today by way of the current Marine uproar. This would be my response to that. May I be the first to request it.
