Which Ballet?

Congratulations to Edwina for winning yesterday's trivia contest and to:

for winning the random drawing.

If the two of you lovely ladies could email me at ijr41ug @ yahoo.com or iscrapdesigns @ gmail.com (take out the spaces, please) with your choice of free file, I'll send it out asap.

Hanukkah does mean "dedication" or "re-dedication" and is also called the Festival of Lights.  It is a celebration of a miracle, the reclaiming of the temple that had been desecrated by invaders, and the defeat of those invaders.

The reason there are so many different spellings of "Chanukah" is that trying to translate a foreign language with different sounds does not always go smoothly and easily into English and vice versa.

Now, for today's trivia question.

What is the name of the most well-known Christmas ballet?

The first person with the correct answer will win their choice of a free file and all those who comment will be entered into a random drawing for another free file.

Make sure you visit my friends, Chris and Jan, because I know they have some fun things for you and come back tomorrow when I will have a special treat for you too.

Until then, Happy Creative Time!

The Nutcracker and I was able to take my 2 youngest children to see it for the 1st time this year. I always dreamed of taking my older daughter, but never had the opportunity to. My little son (6) and daughter (8) loved it and they want to go again next year. It was a fun event for the 3 of us while my older kids and hubby were off hunting in the cold and snow.
