Let the Fun Begin

Wow!  I am so excited.  It's finally here.

Yes, Chris, Jan and I have some fun and creative things for you over the course of the next 12 days.

For starters, Jan has a nice little free file for you today.  I think you'll like it but, don't leave just yet!  I have a little trivia question for you and the chance to win some fun files too.

A while ago, I mentioned that my family and I celebrate Advent.  It's a time for us to focus on the real meaning of Christmas and to prepare our hearts for Jesus' coming.  For this, we have an Advent wreath that sits on our dining room table.  In it are four candles.  For the first week of Advent, we light one candle as we pray and enjoy a family meal together.  The second week, we light two candles and so on until Christmas.

So, here's your trivia question:

What colors are the candles in an Advent wreath?

The first person who guesses correctly will win their choice of a free file and everyone who guesses will be entered into a random drawing for another free file.

Now, don't forget to visit my friends here and here and make sure you come back tomorrow for some more fun and a little something special too!

Until then, Happy Creative Time!

The colors of the candles vary with different traditions, but there are usually three purple or blue candles, corresponding to the sanctuary colors of Advent, and one pink or rose candle.

Traditionally there are 3 purple and one pink on the wreath. Sometimes the white candle is placed in the center to be lit on Christmas day.

The Advent wreath has 3 purple candles and one pink one. I love your tradition. Our family used to do that too. It really does help to prepare for the season.
Thanks for the opportunity to win. Have a Merry Christmas.
