Already?!!!!

I knew this day was coming . . . IN 7 OR 8 YEARS!!!  Eeeeeek!

It appears that Daddy needs to go buy a shotgun.  His daughter hasn't even finished THIRD GRADE yet and she has just been asked out on her first date.  I'm not kidding!  LOL!  The little boy's mom is going to drive them to the movies and everything--IF we give her permission to go.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.  Maybe I'll do both.  LOL!  Yes, it's cute but if she's going to start dating in the third grade, I don't even want to think about what she'll do when she's 16.

She's just a little girl, see:

Eeek!  Maybe we need to just lock her up until she's 30.

Until then, Happy Creative Time!

Bri's best friend throughout elementary was a boy. They are still very good friends today! The only thing we didn't allow was sleepovers! Otherwise, at that age, the kids just played and had a great time!

They're calling it a date? LOL!! I had "boyfriends" in 3rd grade, but we never dated! Then having a boyfriend consisted of sharing lunches and holding hands. Things have really changed!

Wow! They grow up a lot younger now. But that being said, my 17 year still has not had her first date. Yikes and good luck!

I think it will be a fun outing for them. Just don't call it a date. LOL. I had a "boyfriend" in third grade, but we never went on a date. :) Good luck with your decision!

I agree don't call it a date--just say "going to a movie with a friend"--but look out--my DD got engaged a couple of months ago--bust she is 23! It seems like it all happened so fast, seems like she should still be in 3rd grade and NOT getting her Master's degree!
