Wouldn't You Know It?

I know I have absolutely no right to complain considering that a huge portion of this country and our northern neighbors are dealing with a monster storm.  Yet, it seems that Murphy's Law is trying to set up shop in our home this week.

The dog needs to go to the vet.  She needs more medicine for her epilepsy and she has this odd bump on her side.  Bryan says it can't be skin cancer because she has soooo much fur that light doesn't get a chance to go through it.  I still want to know what it is and what we should do about it.

Both vehicles need oil changes and the hubby's needs new tires and brakes too.  Then, I got a phone call today canceling our special guest speaker for our religious education class tomorrow night.

We do have some great news.  Both kiddos came home with straight A's on their report cards yesterday.  The not so great news is that Ilaria's teacher insists she did not get Principal's Honor Roll because she got a B.  We've now written a note and made a copy of the report card to find out what's going on.  In the meantime, Ilaria's discouraged and upset.

And I haven't even started any new files this week.

Now, if you want to escape that snow and cold, you're welcome to visit me.  We'll hang out, enjoy the warm sunny weather we're getting here and play with paper.  Seriously, come on down!

Until then, Happy Creative Time!

ah Ileana
you post was like a breath of fresh air - Felt the Florida Sunshine way up here in Ontario Canada where it is FREEZING cold but no snow but all you hear on the news it snow 10-20-30 cm that is supposed to be coming - now that sounds like a lot but 30cm is only 12 inches - and it is winter. Sunday I was out looking for royal blue ribbon the sun was shining and so warm it looked like March weather it was beautiful. today not so much But I was talking to my BF of 40 years - we remember having to go to school in a foot of snow - now snow days back then
but as snow day now to work on paper stuff well now that would be fun - tell you kidlets congratulations on the fantastic report cards.

Well, it's BAD here in northern Indiana. Emergency vehicles ONLY on the road in my county. We got hit HARD yesterday but I'm not sure what we have in store for us today except digging out! Not sure, at this point in time, whether Rocky and I are going to work. We're trying to get something solid on the internet but it's not cooperating. I'm packing my bags and heading down there, Ileana....as soon as I can get out of my driveway! ROFLOL

Hope you straighten things out with your daughter's report card ans such! If there were no "b's" on her card, WHY isn't she on that list? Seems ODD!

Enjoy your weather! Hope this cold doesn't make it YOUR way!

I am sorry you are on a rollercoaster right now with the mostly down ride. Hope how soon it is just a ride upward. :)
(I hope that makes sense LOL)
