Wow! What a difference a day off makes. We had an absolutely delightful week-end together as a family and got so much done too.
First, Friday night we found out our little Snowball, the hamster, has wet tail. It's a serious condition that can quickly dehydrate and kill a hamster. Fortunately, she responded to the medication immediately and is back to her feisty little, sassy-rodent self already.
Then, Saturday we went to the beach where my kiddos love to look for crystals and a couple of parks too. They had a blast but were a bit disappointed at the second park we went too. It was for skateboarders and it was being occupied by a large group of teenagers so my kiddos didn't feel comfortable trying to weasel their way into getting a turn on the course. So, they just stuck to the sidewalk and had fun on the hills there.
We ended the day with a movie at home and then cleaned house the rest of the time.
Oh, but wait, there is one other thing that was good about this week-end. Besides getting re-energized, I got to work on some more files. They aren't all done but it was fun and I'm sure you'll like at least some of them. LOL! Now, to get them all finished so you can see what they look like.

I am SO pleased that you had a great FAMILY weekend! I bet it felt GOOD to do things you wanted to do instead of things you have to do. LOL That's great!
Whenever you need to take another Friday off for your family, please do so as we will totally understand how precious our time is! Your generosity is overwhelming with all the free files you give us and we certainly don't want you to think that we EXPECT them!

Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend. My weekend consisted of a Coast Guard Auxiliary Division Conference that our flotilla hosted. Not as fun as what you did, but it was fun seeing other Flotilla members.

My weekend started out Friday night with some country line dancing. Hadn't done that in years, but that kinda ended my weekend.
I hurt my foot and am now gimping around if I am not elevating and icing it. UGH. Oh wait, that also means hubby is serving me....not all bad I guess. Hee Hee.
btw, thanks for all the great files you create. It takes alot of time and energy, so very glad you enjoy doing it.
