A Sad Week

It's a very sad week for our community. This week we lost one brave soldier in Afghanistan and two police officers on our own streets.

It just breaks my heart. One of the police officers leaves behind a wife and four boys between the ages of 9 and 8 months. The other's wife was due to deliver their first child next week. Both officers were 31 years old. Ironically, they became the 30th and 31st Tampa police officers killed in the line of duty. Click on the picture if you want to read more about the Tampa Police Memorial.

Please remember the families of these fallen heroes in your prayers and, please continue to pray for all our brave men and women who have dedicated their lives in service to ours.

Ileana...that makes me sad and sick at the same time. What on earth is this world coming to?? I am an RN and you would not believe the stuff that I see and hear about. My prayers are with these unfortunate family members. Hugs, Rockin Robin C
