Camping with Sharks?

Thank you, All, for your lovely comments. They always make my day.

Camping was very hot but very fun. First, except for some mosquito bites, no one got hurt. That's a really good thing! It didn't rain or even thunderstorm which was awesome since it had rumbled like it was going to open up on us.

The boys earned their photography belt loop and will now be able to carry a pocket knife--once they get their card from the troop. (Boy Scouts have their rules, you know.) Everyone had a blast swimming in the spring. It is always 72 degrees F. So it was a delightfully refreshing treat in that heat.

They even found lots of fossilized shark teeth. What's really cool about that is we were in the middle of the state of Florida--no where near the ocean! Yet each kid went home with at least a couple and some had a dozen or more. It just goes to show that all of Florida was below sea level at some point in history. It's a good thing we didn't live here then. LOL!

Until next time, Happy Creative Time!
