Time Out

I had a really cool blog post planned for tonight but, I must confess, my hubby just got home. He's been gone away for work again. I also know we won't be getting a week-end this week-end since he has Air Force. So, I'm calling a time out so I can spend some precious time with him.

I promise to have my cool post ready for tomorrow! Hey, I'll even tell you about the mass-casualty exercise that's coming up quickly. The kids get to be wounded. They are so excited. LOL!

Until then, Happy Creative Time!

you made me chuckle. funny that the kids are excited about being part of a mass casuality exercise. Go spend time with hubby, life is way to precious to pass up any moment with a loved one :)

I'm so sorry your MIL seems so gravely ill. My prayers are certainly with you all.

About sewing the lace, I think I would use a French seam. You sew a narrow seam, wrong sides together. Then, right sides together, sew another seam, encasing the seam allowance of the first seam. This prevents unraveling, and catching on other fabrics, and helps strengthen fragile areas on the lace. Good luck!
