More to the Story

Today, I am so very excited.

First, yay! We survived the Christmas program. It was a bit touchy at the start. I was seriously afraid that we would be trampled when they finally opened the door. Fortunately it was only some mild pushing. LOL! The program itself was nice. It was fun to watch my daughter sing and sign and, all in all, we had a nice time.

But that's not what I'm excited about. Nope, I'm excited because tomorrow we are going to finally get to meet a very special person: Mr. Charlie. I can't wait!

Just who is Mr. Charlie? Well, if you've been reading my blog for a while now, you know that we--especially my daughter--have been richly blessed by a kind stranger. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you can read about it here.

After that happened, my daughter made a thank you card and I made another one and included a letter describing our gratitude. Since we didn't know the man who had blessed us, we took the cards back to the Christian bookstore in the hopes that they would be able to give the man the cards should he come back again. As it turned out, they know the man and his name is Charlie. Ilaria has been praying for Mr. Charlie ever since.

Fast forward to today. I got a phone call today from the Christian bookstore. Mr. Charlie came back to the store again and he wants to meet us. We are finally going to get to thank Mr. Charlie in person and we are so very excited. Yippee!

Yet, there's more to this story. Mr. Charlie told me he also has another special gift for Ilaria. He told me what it is but you'll have to come back tomorrow for the rest of the story. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Until then, Happy Creative Time!

so glad you survived the concert.
and enjoyed it.
Mr. Charlie sounds like a very kind person. Random acts of kindness are so nice to do as well.
But is is wonderful that you can say thank you in person and met the kind gentleman.
(I really was thinking about you going to the Christmas concert- and not liking the crowds. But knew seeing the young ones perform is worth the trouble)
Merry Christmas - enjoy your small ones
