Gearing Up

First, because a friend asked, let me explain that a flameless candle is battery operated so it's kind of like a flashlight but it flickers just like a candle. They are very cool for making paper lanterns and luminaries and for use around children or pets as they do not get hot.

We're going to be busy little bees around here as we gear up for the Thanksgiving holiday and for the ones next month too.

Tomorrow, I'll be elbow deep in pies. Yep, it's a holiday tradition whether it's Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter. I must bake at least one Caramel Pecan Pie and one Upside Down Apple Pie with Pecan Topping as well. "Must" is the key word here. I don't think my family would allow me to sleep in the house Thursday night if I didn't bake pies first. LOL!

And to help you gear up for the holidays I've also made a sweet little treat for you. It even says so in my very own handwriting right on the front. See, here's my Kinetic Candy Pouch just for you:

While the bottom photo shows the ribbon untied, it is not necessary to do that. Just pull up on the bow and the candy pops up. Nifty and sweet, huh?

Thanks for the explanation about the batteries.
Next I have to look at the instructions for this file to decipher it. Too much holiday stress, I guess. I'm glad your focus is on pie baking-- and file sharing.

Happy Thanksgiving to you
oh the pies sound yummy - I have never heard of an upside down apple pie with pecan topping
But have a great weekend
I also love the flameless candles- even with no little kidlets around - so much safer and looks just as pretty
