Oh, Louise! Oh, Tasha!

Congratulations to Louise who was the first to comment on what a fluffernutter is! Congratulations to the winner of the random drawing: Tasha! Each of you get to pick a free file so e-mail me at ijr41ug @ yahoo.com (take out the spaces).

Oh, and to answer Caz's question, marshmallow creme or fluff is a spreadable form of marshmallows without the powdery outside part. So, yes, it's like s'mores but not warm.

One tip on making a fluffernutter: don't refrigerate your marshmallow creme. If you do keep it in the refrigerator, pop it into the microwave for a bit to warm it up so you can spread it on the bread. Cold fluff rips the bread! Now doesn't that sound like an oxymoron? "Fluff" sounds so soft. How can something so soft rip bread? Well, because it is as sticky as that red tape we love to use in our projects! LOL!

For the record, I ate fluffernutters as a kid. My daughter hates them--and jelly too. She takes her peanut butter plain. My son loves them. He also loves telling people he's eating a peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwich just to gross them out. Yep, he's definitely all boy!

Until next time, Happy Scrapping!
