I've been keeping a little secret.

My husband and I have been commissioned and trained to be Extra Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion.

Now, don't you think that sounds like an amazing title? LOL! Take another look at it. It isn't "extraordinary" but "extra" and "ordinary" as in "another" and "plain." It really means we will be assisting in passing out Holy Communion at Mass from time to time and we consider it a deep honor.

Anyway, tonight we are going to a dinner at our parish for Eucharistic Ministers. It's mostly a social event but we will also be given our official nametags and I've got to get moving or we will be late.
